Blast Resistant Buildings
IET Structural design team provides design and detailing for blast resistant building for Industry/plants
- Specifications and standards shall be followed as per project design basis.
- Explosion Hazard Identification- blast parameters and loads – Shall be followed as per QRA study report.
- Building requirements- Layout, Siting, Criticality.. etc shall be identified based on project guidelines
- Performance of building shall be agreed based on project requirements
- Type of material and structural system shall be finalised
- Detail analysis, structural design for sizing and serviceability checks shall be carried out in detail as per design code requirements.
